The Iverson's Difference

At Iverson’s we’ve been handcrafting the finest traditional wood snowshoes for over 50 years. They’re made in the USA, right here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and trust us when we say, we know snow.

  • "Best snowshoe for any kind of snow. After my first pair of Iverson snowshoes, I gave our aluminum sets away and stocked the family with these traditional ones. Back to basics baby, Pure Michigan!!!"

  • I purchased my first pair of Iverson's in 1978 when I was 18 years old and working on a forestry research crew in the U.P. I am still using that pair to this day! I bought my husband his first pair of Iverson's for his birthday and he loves them. I wouldn't snow shoe on any others. So glad the company is continuing on with this GREAT U.P. tradition and brand. Thank you Iverson's!

  • Still wearing my dad's Iverson snowshoes he bought in the early 60s & passed on to me!

  • I am 5'-11" and 165lbs. I was between a 12x35 Bear Paw, 12x46 Michigan, 9x36 Green Mountain, and 10x46 Cross Country. I was lucky enough to visit the store in person and try all of them on. I think I would be hard pressed to be upset with any of them. But when splitting hairs, it came down to the Cross Country and Bear Paw. I ended up with the Bear Paws as most of my use is for hare hunting in the woods and swamps. Not if, but when I buy my second pair, I will be going with the cross country because the flotation was great and it truly felt like I had nothing on my feet when going out in the open for a distance. I am proud to be an owner of such a high quality piece of gear from the Upper Peninsula and will be back to buy more.
